The biggest problem with F1 isn't Hamilton or Mercedes winning every race, its these 3 tyre compounds. Once the teams changed to the hard tyres it was all about fuel saving and the tyre didn't allow cars to follow closer through the corners.

Said it earlier in the season, Vettel is shot.

Either actual driving abilities have declined or mentally he no longer has it. He is pushing beyond his limits leading to errors.

I'd say that was last year for him. Crashing at Hockenheim, spinning his car when ever Hamilton appeared in his mirrors etc etc. He's really not up to world champ material anymore. Feels like his heart isn't in it anymore.

It wasn't boring, Vettel finished exactly where is deserved and (discounting the two Mercs) Leclerc and Verstappen finished in the correct order too.
I think that most of us are actually watching the mid field and ignoring the Mercs.
I love watching what they've done with the Merc and marveling. Other teams are free to do the same. I also marvel at what they've done to the Red Bulls and McLarens... Brilliant. If those teams had Ferrari's money...

The heart is there. Damon Hill is what happens when the heart is no longer in the sport. Vettel is still trying, you cannot fault him on that.

The mistakes he is making while leading races or fighting for position are clear indications that the desire is there. He's not just cashing cheques. Its the ability and/or mental strength that has deserted him.

Was relying on SS to repeat the race as per usual, but they didn't.

Wondering if with all the sport going on yesterday (cricket, tennis, two golf tournaments, IRT, SBK, Afcon etc), there just wasn't an available slot to air the replay. I often miss a race (whether it is F1 or MotoGP) due to golf or running so I also watch the replay which is usually on the same evening.

I think it wasn't repeated due to IndyCar (?).
