Apparently Lance Stroll has / had Covid so Hulk will be back
No, Here is a quote from Stroll:
"I was tested again on Monday this week and my results were negative. I feel in great shape and I can't wait to be back with the team and to race in Portugal."

Russell: from the Mercedes dream to the 2021 nightmare

Russell was set to join Mercedes. While negotiating to sell the team, Claire Williams, seeing Russell as an asset in the eyes of potential new investors/buyers, blocked the move.

With Nikita Mazepin looking to enter F1 with his millions, this potentially sees two drivers with money competing for one seat at Haas; Mazepin and Sergio Perez. The new owners of Williams are reportedly interested in signing one of them alongside Latifi.

This would be sad if true. Russell is immensely talented and it would be a blight on the sport if he loses a seat to a pay driver.

Yup I think Russell has all the hallmarks of a world champion, if he got the Merc drive Hamilton would have had his work cut out for him.

That puts into perspective just how long it's been for Ferrari and how early the season used to end.

2006, 2007 and 2008 all went down to the last race of the season and had great finishes.

Ferrari had drivers finish 2 & 3, 1 & 4 and 2 & 3.

Sorry state of affairs. Its looking increasingly likely that Russell will be without a drive as now Sergio Perez's name has come up as a Williams driver. The team has been in contact with him.

Perez a candidate for 2021 Williams seat, Russell under threat

Sergio Perez has emerged as a surprise candidate for a seat with Williams in 2021, making George Russell’s future with the team uncertain.

Racing Point opted to replace Perez with Sebastian Vettel for next season ahead of its rebranding as Aston Martin, despite Perez having options in place as part of a long-term deal. Confirmation of his departure only came in mid-September, shortly after Williams came under new ownership from Dorilton Capital.

With Perez on the market, RACER understands Dorilton has been looking at the commercial possibilities of a change in driver line-up, with new technical regulations in 2022 offering a chance for the team to move up the grid. To that end, the Mexican’s potential sponsorship package is an attractive proposition, and talks have been held.

Things are going to start moving.

Grosjean has just announced his exit from Haas via his Facebook page. Likely the end of his F1 career as well. Good chance he joins Peugeot as they look to enter the new Le Mans Hypercar category.

Italian media reporting that Alfa will retain their driver lineup of Kimi and Giovinazzi.

Sauber have their own driver academy and one of their drivers is set to join F2 next year. We could be seeing that Alfa-Sauber want to be a little more independent from Ferrari with Haas becoming the Ferrari 'B-team'.
