Talking about the older races, I would like to see the teams unable to run simulations of race weekends, and only human based analysis during races. It's almost too easy, they pitch up at practice, gather tons of data with some generic predefined laps and then let it run overnight and hey presto here is your perfect race strategy along with 100 variations so you barely need to think about what to do. I'd wager a large part of the car setup also gets taken care of by the simulations. I think that it should all be done according to the drivers and what they are feeling on track during practice sessions. Then the race engineer also becomes a more important role since they can't rely on the almost real time analysis provided by the offsite support during races.

I found that quite exciting because it means Mercedes now have two number 1 drivers.

Me, Dan, Jochen, Jackie, Graham and Jackie approve!

Albon demoted to Alpha Tauri, Kvyat out of F1?

EDIT: Marko mentioning Bahrain as the race where the decision for the second AT seat is pertinent; Its the final round of the F2 championship. If Yuki Tsunoda finishes in the top-4 of the championship he qualifies for a Super License.

Albon could be exiting as well.

Ugh, I feel a bit for Alex. I suspect that some of his performances are down to being a Red Bull guiney-pig for Max. Red Bull are ruthless though so I wouldn't be surprised to see him exit stage left...

Yeah. I hope if Albon gets dropped from RBR at least he can still drive for AT, that's if they don't take Tsunoda.
Would be good to see Gasly and Albon fight it out for a year in identical cars.

Construction of the new track in Rio de Janeiro has been stopped for now owing to an environmental report.

Not sure how much sway Max really has at Red Bull, but according to reports, he is allegedly punting for the Hulk as his 2021 team mate.

However, reports from both De Telegraaf and F1 Insider now claim that, when his bosses asked him for his opinion during the Portuguese Grand Prix race weekend at Portimao, he made it clear that he wanted Hulkenberg to be given the nod.

“F1-Insider.com knows: Verstappen [is] also making a policy [pushing] for Hülkenberg internally,” the German site says. “The fact that the two get along well is partly due to Hülkenberg’s origins. His home town Emmerich is located on the Dutch border, and the German even speaks Dutch well. “But more importantly, Verstappen knows that he needs support in his own camp for 2021 in the duel against the dominant Mercedes. “And Verstappen knows: you need [a team-mate with] healthy self-confidence and stable mental strength. His former teammate Daniel Ricciardo had that, and so does Nico Hülkenberg.”

The site also asked Helmut Marko about the matter. While the Austrian confirmed that Verstappen has made his opinion known, he didn’t go into any further detail, and played down the importance of the connection between the Dutchman and Hulkenberg. “In 2020 it didn’t work out, but in 2021 we want to finally make the attack on Mercedes and make Max the world champion, even if he can’t become the youngest champion anymore,” he said. “We also ask Max for his opinion on the driver question. We know his opinion too. “But whether a driver can speak Dutch is not decisive, because the team language is English.”

Could be just more silly season speculation but if Max does have a say on who takes the second RB seat, it could bode very well for the Hulk

The Hulk --> RBR?
Perez --> Williams F1 (or whatever they're know as. I gave up on my old team this year :( )
Seb to have a better year next year at AMR?

Will be interesting times next year. Hopefully.
