Though his overcut was starting to work, he would have come out ahead of Max even with a normal pit stop, probably very close to Bot as well (at least according to the commentators).

Max claims an engine problem but then closes Bot right down.

It just irks me when he perennially moans about the state of his tyres and then proceeds to pump in fastest laps. Still, sometimes you make your own luck so while this result is another boring foregone conclusion, you can't say Hamilton hasn't engineered this beautifully

For a change he was saying how good his tyres were and not to pit him.

Perez has done well, again showing the decision to keep useless Stroll and drop him was just pure nepotism.

Is poor George Russell going to lose out on a point again? He's 10th but Raikkonen and Vettel are on much fresher tyres
