So, 1 race to go. Won by Merc since 2014 (i think) except last year where VER won it. Equal points between drivers.

It's been one hell of a year for F1.
I will be happy whatever the result next week.
I would prefer it was HAM but whoever it is has deserved it, they have both driven like champions this year.

I'd prefer VER winning, but I don't see it happening unless something extremely dramatic happens.

Nah... roo many off track antics. Anyone know how many times the top two have been summoned to the stewards this year?

Has there been a season with so much off-track controversy ?

The stewards have been extra busy but their decisions have been questioned.

The Team managers need to chill, this is a sport, not a war.

The biggest on-track controversy will be this track.

Probably 1994.

The scandal over who was and who wasnt using driver aids. A debate which still persists to this day.

Accusations against Williams, holding them liable for Senna's death. The ensuing fallout over safety in F1 in general.

Michael taking a delayed 2 race ban for failing to serve a stop-go penalty and ignoring a black flag at that year's British Grand Prix. The ban would come months after the British GP. Hill won both races Michael missed. Adelaide doesn't happen if he never missed those races.

Verstappen has been summoned for an "alleged breach of Article 2 (d) Chapter IV Appendix L of the FIA International Sporting Code" in relation to his driving when Hamilton ran into the back of him.

The article reads: "Causing a collision, repetition of serious mistakes or the appearance of a lack of control over the car (such as leaving the track) will be reported to the stewards and may entail the imposition of penalties up to and including the disqualification of any driver."
