Best driver lineup on the grid. Next season with the best car, its overs for the rest of the grid..
I agree on the driver lineup and I hope they do get a good car too.

There is some great talent out there with Leclerc and Saints in a hopefully resurgent Ferrari, Ham and RUS is a probably not so dominant Mercedes with MAX and ??? in a new Adrian Newey car designed from a clean slate.

This season was good but if we have three or more teams challenging for wins next season it could be great.

The one thing im very surprised with Ferrari, is that i still dont believe they have a good engineering dept. Not sure who heads up what there at the moment, but Binotto should be that guy. Ferrari should have looked at a proper team principal, but with the changes next season, will be interesting to see what happens. If they fail again, i can see Mattia being fired, along with most of that team of engineers

Toto is such a nice guy

"[When] Ferrari are in crisis, that's bad for the whole of Formula 1," said Wolff. "Ferrari is an icon among the brands, and they should be at the front. No one from Ferrari or the fans deserves such a result."

He did a 2.4g brake check, that's hardly just slowing down is it, that's full on dangerous. This dirty Max is a risk to others on the circuit.

So it is normal behaviour under racing conditions to sit behind a slowing car and indeed slow down in order to stay behind them? Instead of I don't know, pulling out and overtaking?

He played a stupid game and nearly won a stupid prize. Nobody's fault that he found himself in that situation.

You cannot keep on throwing sh*t at Max when Lewis is playing games himself.

I'll keep on referencing him because he spoke sense; Carlos Sainz said these stupid little incidents do not happen if one of the drivers wants to avoid it.

So far the only driver who has sent another to hospital is Lewis and that was for 20x more Gs.

Naughty naughty casting HAM in a bad light like that :p

This season's climax is a manufactured one. Had the stewards being consistent and had Merc not effectively taken out RBR this would be over by now and the dangerous and frustrated driving incidents wouldn't be happening.

But here we are: inconsistent penalties, not overtaking because of DRS, brake checking, pushing people off track, using super tuned unreliable engines, slowing down on track under the safety car, leaving huge gaps so the front runner sits on the grid with colder tyres, burning off fuel in the pit lanes (apparently).

It's just ugly now.

And it's all about the luck of the draw which rules you choose to break and when.

Normal start: don't leave a 10 car gap but leaving the track is ok

Restart: do leave a 10 car gap but don't leave the track.

Any other year Max would've taken this by now.

All the pro Lewis fans will defend him to the bitter end, even if he does stupid things himself. Its always everybody elses fault, never his. As soon as he doesnt get his way, he is quick on the radio moaning about it.

So the sooner he gets the 8th title, and hopefully retires soon as well, the better for F1.

Toto Wolff is the wisest man in the paddock. I hope Mercedes wins the Constructor's title. Only. :p

OK, so you're not prepared to give it a think then. Probably too early in the week.

Have a good one.

Look at the first sentence in the last paragraph, Max was driving erratically which was the prodominant cause of the collision. Not much more could be said.

Of course they were both playing games, only one did something dangerous worthy of a penalty though.

That story is even more overused than the race card. He went for a check up, not because he was injured. And he carried a big chunk of the blame for that accident.

Agreed
If HAM wins this it is due to being lucky in the first half of the season, along with an amazing car coupled with some amazing drives in the second half.
