Next seasons championship battle. Book it

That would be cool, crashy and clucky will crash into each other constantly leaving Lewis and Russel to tussle over the championship.

no on-track shenanigans, just pure racing.

I wish we could have pure racing, but looks like we're stuck with this sanitised ' go see the headmaster after class 'cos your crayons went over the line' version.

Is there another sport with so many rules ?

The what now
HAM received a reprimand for blocking MAZ during practice last race. His other reprimand was from Mexico iirc for failing to join the track safely? Something like that. Once you have three reprimands you get a 10 place grid penalty.
It's like some sports with green cards, you do something wrong but didn't affect the game too much you get a green, but if you keep doing it multiple greens becomes a yellow card.

Judging by what's a very swift turnaround between the final race of the season on Sunday, and the first GP of 2022 on 20 March in Bahrain, we should expect to see either teasers or full reveals of the new 2022 F1 cars in their livery within weeks.
And hopefully hear about the performance of the cars.

You can bet your bottom dollar they are both going to be aggressive for the simple fact that whomever is in front, wins. Be it a fight for 10th place or 1st place.

However, and the British press have been creaming themselves over this, neither driver will deliberately try and crash their way to the championship. As much sh*t as Max gets, he hasn't remotely attempted to pull a Adelaide '94/Jerez '97. Not that anybody would even get away with it as it would be an instant DSQ, just like Michael was DSQ'd in '97.
I'm actually keen to see how Crashtappen handles the pressure. If he doesn't get out front with a decent lead, I think he's liable to do some interesting stuff. He's shown he doesn't quite have the level head of Lewis or some of the more seasoned drivers - he's still and in the most intense competition he's ever faced.

Don't forget Nando in Hamilton's first year. When your team mate gives you that much uphill and you come out on top, you've earned my respect.

I guess you Verstappen fans have that hope to hold on to.

With the very sudden increase in speed the Mercs have (well, Hamilton's does), if Perez isn't in the mix (and maybe even Gasly), Verstappen is going to have a very, VERY tough weekend and race.
I wonder if they won't turn up the performance on the Honda engines in the ATs to give them a boost and put them in the front? It is, after all, the RBR junior team.
