I still watch Brundle's grid walk on DSTV though, 'cos it's not on F1TV.
But at 5 mins before the race it's straight back to the full proper HD of F1TV for me.

Red Bull boss Christian Horner accuses Mercedes of a smear campaign against Max Verstappen​

Christian Horner has accused Mercedes of conducting a smear campaign to deprive Max Verstappen of his first Formula One title.

Horner said: ‘Of course it’s been a concerted campaign by Mercedes. Totally. It’s been part of a narrative to put as much pressure on the stewards to act differently from any other race.

'This is a campaign that’s been driven covertly to put the spotlight on Max, give him a tag-line, portray him as this mad, irresponsible driver, put as much pressure as you can on him, on the team, and ultimately on the governing body.

Race director Michael Masi has threatened to deduct championship points — close to unheard of in F1 — if he thinks a driver is deliberately targeting his opponent, which has outraged Horner further.

He believes this is specifically aimed at his driver and would regard it as an unprecedented penalty in this campaign.

Horner would not rule out legal action if Verstappen is denied in this way and, asked outright if Red Bull would go to court if Verstappen was given a penalty not consistent with punishments across the 2021 season, Horner said: ‘You’ve got to look at the context. The one thing you’re looking for is consistent application of the rules, and why is this grand prix different from any other grand prix that we’ve attended this year?

So giving your opinion when interviewed by journalists is now considered a meltdown according to you . Maybe there's a reason why he's opponent doesn't sit on the pit wall during races ... i think it's for safety concerns. Nobody wants debris in the pit lane which maybe caused by someone throwing objects around

It is going to be an interesting race tomorrow and may the best driver win.

The new track layout and the Mercedes speed will be in favour of Lewis and he should have the best chance to win the race.

Max and Red Bull will have to produce something special.

I'm not a Lewis fan and would prefer that Max takes the title.

Hopefully Kimi Raikkonen will have a good last race. He has been my favorite F1 driver since Ayrton Senna.

I hate that man... Just get on with the race, and let the stewards/masi deal with it , if it needs to be dealt with.
