Wow, the pace of that Merc...

I think it's done and dusted, LH has this in the bag. Barring a major issue during the race, he can even afford to not be in pole and still stream away into the distance.
I fully agree, this Merc power and speed has been way ahead of the other teams for many years now.

The only way Lewis could not win this years championship is if Merc "accidently" puts Bottas's tires on his rocket at a pit stop.

It would be interesting to see what someone like George Russell could do in Lewis's car.

But why when something doesnt go right for Lulu, its quickly onto the radio with a "did you see that?"

Toto" " we saw it, we on it. Michael Masi come in please, we need your help urgently"

A bit like Charlie when he was squeezed by Perez last week you mean?

We've seen already. He whipped the field in his first race in kit that was too small for him. It's pretty easy to win in that car.

If it was a significant advantage then Bottas should have won the races Hamilton didn't. How often did that happen this year?
He kind of did though. 1 victory and 4 poles, which is quite a bit more than any other driver (obviously excluding the guy in the fastest car and the fastest driver).

Are you disputing that Russell is an extremely talented driver?
No, I'm saying this is a team sport. Great driver in great car = winner winner chicken dinner.
Great driver in bad car, you can try as you might but better get used to finishing out the points

That HAM has a great car doesn't mean he isn't a great driver. It's just what most HAM fans hear everytime someone says oh the Merc is the best car.

Hamilton may have just dodged a bullet in FP3. He once again got in Mazepin's way. Because of his warnings in Saudi, a reprimand for this would've resulted in a 10-place grid penalty.

If the stewards are consistent then HAM should get that penalty after all seeing as he received a second reprimand last weekend.

Yes ... and Damon Hill & Jacques Villeneuve could have been world champions in any other car than the Williams.

Ah, yes, the stewards and their consistent application of the rules
