I think if PER gets ahead of HAM on the first lap, there is a very good chance that VER could actually win this.

Where the BBQ is Bottas? Horrible position, he can't even support HAM off the line there.

So at least for now it looks like it will still be a fight to the finish line. Was really dreading that Merc smooth sailing into the distance but I think it's pretty even. Exciting stuff (although my heart disagrees at over 9000 BPM)

Good point that Horner makes, Lewis is surrounded by guys on softs. Could be tricky for the first few laps if one or two of those guys get going.

Well, it's all on tomorrow now isn't it. Fitting end to a season that everyone has wanted for so long.
If Verstappen can get a clean getaway then there's nothing to fear from the Merc. Especially if Hamilton is a bit cat foot into turn 1.
Perez somehow needs to get either in front of Hamilton, or on his gearbox to put pressure on him, he'll have Hamilton looking behind more than in front.
Also don't discount Norris here who will try his best to win.
Pity the ATs couldn't get higher up, but it is what it is.

Will be a nerve-wracking race tomorrow for sure.

Dont forget, Merk.
Absolutely has the faster car here, no tow and 2nd with ease.
Flat out straights and rounded corners now play to MaFIA.
8th incoming.
Well tried Max but you needed a front row lockout to even be competetive.

Ah an FYI regarding BOT - he is running an old engine and so is substantially down on power. Don't expect him to do much tomorrow then either

Actually no, I think Hamilton wants Verstappen to take the lead on softs. He just needs to keep up about 3-5 seconds away and he will be fine for a strategic win. Why have the bull on softs behind you? Max might want to back Hamilton up into Perez.

I'm not sure that tow made much difference..

Besides, RB running VER on less back wing too. Straight line speeds are similar.

Merc has all the strategic aces though. Max will have to pit earlier, probably for hards. Lewis will stay out 15+ laps longer and while he will come out behind Max (probably on hards too), he will have infinitely fresher rubber. Of course, catching Max will be one thing but getting past him will be an entirely different prospect. He should get it done though.
