Merc has all the strategic aces though. Max will have to pit earlier, probably for hards. Lewis will stay out 15+ laps longer and while he will come out behind Max (probably on hards too), he will have infinitely fresher rubber. Of course, catching Max will be one thing but getting past him will be an entirely different prospect. He should get it done though.
All depends what sort of gap Max can pull out on Lewis on the softs. If Checo can jump, Lewis, and hold him up, RB could then do whatever they want strategy wise. All depends if Checo can jump Lewis or take him out by mistake

As it's the festive season they could let Kimi through to win - wouldn't affect the leaderboard or the team standings.

It's time to raid the fridge.

Not only do Merc have the strategic aces, don’t forget they also have the fastest and most dominant car.

I fear Max made a big mistake flat-spotting the mediums in Q2. Hamilton's going to keep relative pace and bite. Best Max can hope for is a safety car. Maybe one of the baby bulls will be instructed to make a whoopsie.
Off to bed now, pumped for later on!

And by "today", she of course meant TODAY, duh! :p
I assume all the drivers, other than Mazepin, would find that humiliating.

A simple guard of honour before the race is a nice gesture, and F1 management should put Kimi billboards up everywhere. And fans will hopefully vote Kimi as driver of the day.

Also, UK Channel 4 are showing it live as well (unusually - they normally only carry highlights in the evening). Channel4.com
Pretty sure that with just a vpn you'd be able to watch this from SA... (no subscription required).
