Going to be hard going for him and Mick, that car is a dog.
Mick will just put his head down and learn. And learn...and learn...and get picked up by Ferrari or another decent team.
Mazepin won't learn a thing and will be dumped out of F1 in which he doesn't belong. He's still going to cause a smash. Watch this space.

Yeh and thats a problem... If you dont have anybody monitoring, then implement some sensor at that specific turn, and monitor it that way. End of the race, it gets viewed, and if you have done it too many times, your punishment will be dished out. Teams were warned, so they should make this clear to their drivers anyway
Teams were also warned that it wouldn't be policed.

Well, they did cock up his pitstop strategy. Nobody is denying that. BUT, he went off once and was in crap, while it appears Hamilton got away with it multiple times and wasn't punished other than to be told he will get a waved checked flag if he does it again.
So, they were sort of (not) policing it for him, and doing it when he got overtaken.
He went off multiple times, and was asked to do so. He was not in crap for just going off, he was in crap for going off mid overtake. That's quite a different story since you can easily argue the advantage gain with that. He wasn't in crap anyhow, since he gave it back. They didn't dock him time for going off.

Anyone who doubts Hamilton's ability has to have a look at his rookie season. I'm not sure if a rookie will ever challenge for the title again yet alone record four wins in his rookie year.

It's not like he was making rookie errors either, he was driving better than guys like JP Montoya and Ralf Schumacher who were veterans of the game at that point.

I'm no Hamilton fan, but his performance in 2007 was amazing. He showed that he would be a difficult teammate from early on, but his ability was undeniable.

What are the chances of Michael Schumacher making another public appearance?

I would literally cry if we could see Schumi with Mick when Mick takes his first win. However, the fact that Schumi could not appear for his sons debut makes me less hopeful and I'm negative that we will ever see him again as it's been eight years now which means that he may not even know Mick made his debut.

As much as Schumacher has always been a private guy, he remained involved in F1 after his first retirement by making appearances at races and I think if he still had his mental abilities, he would still be appearing now and then and especially now that Mick is racing.

It's really a bad situation but that's life.

Mick is also a really strong character because he was there when the accident happened and he never had his father there for majority of his racing career. Hamilton's Dad still regularly appears as does Verstappen's.

I'm sure witnessing his father's accident must have had an impact on him for life.

There is a documentary coming out soon.

I saw that, but I'm skeptical about whether they will shed light into his condition. I think the media houses sensationalized the bit about rare footage of him being released. That could just mean racing footage that has never been seen before from his karting days.
