I have no issue with Max or Ricciardo winning it, what I want is a two way or three way battle between 3 different teams for a change.
+1 on Force India - they started with a bang but haven't moved up much since.
And then having to give the trophy backVettel having to sprint from the pit lane![]()

Maybe tomorrow we will have Hamilton being reprimanded for straight lining turn one![]()
with all its might of perfection F1 can be really comical at times.
Well, consistent enforcement by the officials would be a good thing.Maybe tomorrow we will have Hamilton being reprimanded for straight lining turn one
Honestly, we need a new WDC.Looks like we're gonna have a new world champion soon. I just don't see the Ferraris or RBR helping Lewis by taking points away from Rosberg.
Does it have to be Britney thoughHonestly, we need a new WDC.
Anything is better than yet another Hamilton championship. It also seems as af Rosberg is taking the safe approach trying to just get the vital points, rather than going to the max to get wins.
Nice little rice though not spectacular but had good bits and pieces.
No surprise with results.
Note to F1; stop making tracks that do not punish mistakes. Too many drivers got away with off-track excursions and gardening duty.
Can't imagine any of the greats telling the race director to fukc off
Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel has been handed a ten-second time penalty meaning Red Bull’s Daniel Ricciardo has been promoted to third place.
The penalty came after the German was investigated by stewards for potential dangerous driving while defending fourth place against Ricciardo in the closing laps of the Mexican Grand Prix.
Vettel and Ricciardo had already benefitted from a five second penalty handed down to Max Verstappen, who was judged to have gained an advantaging by cutting the track while defending against the Ferrari driver.
The same incident led to Vettel’s penalty, as the three drivers were bunched up going into Turn 4. Ricciardo attempted a move up the inside, only for the German to move over in the braking zone. The two rubbed wheels but both exited the corner unscathed.
The move was judged to be dangerous and Vettel was slapped with a ten second time penalty, elevating the Aussie to the podium even though he crossed the line in fifth.
The German was also handed two penalty points.
“The video footage… plus the telemetry shows that there was an abnormal change of direction by Car 5 and this was considered potentially dangerous in view of the proximity of the wheels of each car,” the stewards’ report said.
The new rule about ‘moving under braking’ was introduced by FIA Race Director Charlie Whiting ahead of the US Grand Prix after Verstappen had been accused of defending second place in a dangerous manner from Lewis Hamilton at the Japanese Grand Prix.
Vettel had welcomed the new rule, saying it had always been an “unwritten law” in Formula 1.
Following his penalty, Verstappen slammed the verdict and told Vettel to “go back to school”. His Red Bull teammate Ricciardo also got involved, accusing Vettel of ‘moving under braking’.
During the race, Vettel was heard saying on the radio about Verstappen: “He’s a ****. That’s what he is. Am I the only one or are you not seeing what I’m seeing?”
Then, when a Ferrari engineer said that Whiting was looking into the incident. Vettel could be heard saying, “Yeah? Here’s a message to Charlie: f*** off. Honestly, f*** off.”
Vettel will likely face punishment over his outburst by the sport’s governing body after speaking about the race director in such a manner.
Back in the pits,Vettel said that he had been to see Verstappen to talk to the 19-year-old.
“I had reason to be angry,” Vettel said.
“I went immediately to see him. Out of respect I went to him and told him what I did. I think he is aware and that is it,” he added.
Helmut Marko was unimpressed with Sebastian Vettel’s behaviour in the closing laps of the Mexican GP as the former Red Bull driver launched into a sweary rant.
Vettel was angered by Max Verstappen’s antics in Mexico City, feeling that the Dutchman should have handed him third place after gaining an advantage through an off-track excursion.
Vettel not only cussed at Verstappen but also took his anger out at FIA race director Charlie Whiting, who he said should “f*** off.”
Red Bull advisor Marko was not impressed.
“The situation is unworthy of a four-time world champion,” Marko told Sky Sports.
“His choice of words certainly wasn’t first class.”
Vettel was handed third when Verstappen was penalised only to lose it hours later when he himself was penalised for his driving against Daniel Ricciardo.
The German has already spoken to Whiting about his rant.
Asked if he thought he might be facing a disrepute charge, Vettel told TV crews at the track: “I don’t understand why you are making a fuss and why you are asking the question.
“It was not the right thing to say, equally in my defence emotions and adrenaline is pumping high so I don’t understand why you are trying to push me in a corner and make me answer something that then you try to make into another loop.
“Out of respect I went to him and told him what I did. He is aware, and that’s it.”
Out of respect... lol.
As for the Vettel / Verstappen incident, they really should have just got on the radio (stewards) and told Verstappen to hand the place to Vettel, end of... it wasn't a hard decision to make in the heat of the moment. The same goes for the Lewis incident. It would have done the race a favour to watch Lewis try win his place back.
