Fair price for Canon 28mm F2.8 ?

What would a fair price be for this lens?

I bought it on Kalahari at R1,999.00 2 months ago and when I list it as 'make an offer' I get R350.00 offers. I know lenses depreciate - but surely I should get more than that?

My internet is extremly slow right now, so couldn't check on either Orms or SACamera to see if it's listed ... but a few months ago it wasn't, so I couldn't get a fair price other than Kalahari

Over here they go for around £100-160 (R1100-1800) odd, depending on the age and condition. Why are you selling it?

I read everywhere one should you the widest aperture for star trails - and bought it was for that.

However it's not much of a difference from the 18-55 ... so unless you really need/want the 2.8, it's a duplication

I had/have no money .... and this was a cheap 2.8

And I needed to use eBucks
