Which equals +-3GB.

Listen, obviously the "cap" is limiting and everyone can easily use more than 3GB, but posting here and saying I want a 10GB, 20GB, 30GB, xGB cap is pretty pointless.

If I could get about 15gigs out of a 3gig account, I would be equally happy. Doesnt work that way though.

Ok, this is my opinion on the matter:

I am not a genius in this field, but Telkom should charge us a fair rate, while still ensuring that they get a profit, BUT not the profit that they are currently enjoying. For R249 I would suggest 10 - 15 GB, because if what they say is true (that 'abusers' are in the minority) then they should have no problem increasing it to that because most would then, allegedly, not use that amount.

BUT, what I think will happen, most likely, is one of two things:

1) They will increase the cap, and not tell anyone in order to keep their image intact and not admit their mistakes.
2) They will increase the cap and will launch a HUGE advertising campaign and thereby steal other clients forcing them (via contracts) into their evil electronic empire. (most likely)

So, they should increase it to what they can afford, but ALSO to South Africans can afford.
