For the past Two years i have been receiving a support scam call from
these guys... I Would like to know if the is possible way of making them
stop calling my house. :mad::mad:

I have already threaten to report them to the cops... I just want advice on
how to solve this problem, so that they don't have another victim who is clueless
about these type of scams.

keep a whistle near the phone and wait for them to call then blow the guys eardrums into next week.

troll them back.

Best advice, if you troll them well, keep them on the line and waste their time they'll eventually hang up, they might call back again, just troll them again and usually they won't call back again after that.

Most of these trolling attempts the troller ends up telling the scammer he has a mac, then they never call again.

This has been posted before but it works - answer the phone, ask them to hold on, leave the phone lying on your desk.

I haven't got time to waste on these scams so I've adopted the following tactic:

... are you sitting in front of your computer?

... don't have a computer

... erm, do you have a laptop?

... No

They terminate the call without even a goodbye :)

The last lot who called worked for some IT Company in Bryanston, which I could successfully Google. After trolling him a bit about not finding my Certificate Store, I said I will quickly stroll over since I see we are in the same park and he can then help me out. He said no he can't and the call dropped.

It's far more fun to play stupid with them :p

Yeah, the first couple of times, but it gets old quickly.
Especially when you realise that they are actually as dense as a lump of coal in a cave.

They stopped calling after about the 3rd dragged out call, especially when they realise they are just being screwed around when you say you don't have a computer after 10 minutes. Time is money to them.
