Was the same when they released Skyrim Anniversary
Broke stuff that wasn't broken and fixed nothing. After the second broken patch I uninstalled. don't even know what state it is in now
 
New update for fo4 is really great. Running 60fps on quality with VRR is just fantastic.
 
Show has done wonders for the franchise. Fallout 76 has pulled a No Mans Sky.
Game has plenty of fresh vaulties, events are popping off and more content on the way :)

Yeah at 1st I was thinking Microsoft is a bunch of morons not banking on the show to drop a new game. Then I remember 76 exist and they much rather you play that than anew SP game.

Project Arroyo Plans To Launch On Steam​

Fallout London is launching on GOG because it’s too big for the Nexus Mods website, but Project Arroyo has slightly different plans.

“I’m leaning towards doing what Endernal: Forgotten Stories did,” Daponte says, referencing a similarly scoped Skyrim mod. “Putting it on Steam. It’s just a platform that everyone has, it’s easier to access, easier to update, easier to install - it’s more efficient. We would have to figure out all the specificities, making it so you have Fallout 2 and Fallout 4 and all of its DLC to make sure there’s no legal issues. But we’re still looking into it.”

So, we have a Fallout 2 remake to look forward to that will reimagine the classic in the vein of the 3D games, complete with a New Vegas-style NCR and a more fleshed out San Francisco. It’s an incredibly ambitious project, but with over 100 dedicated fans behind the wheel, it’s shaping up to be a promising return to the West Coast. And one that we might even get to download directly onto our Steam Decks. Win win, eh?

Any players on console? Suspect they did a sneaky graphics update. game has never looked as vibrant and pleasing.
 
Just d/l Fallout 4 from steam. Never played it (or any Fallout game)

I think I'll install a couple of QOL mods, thinking of going with the midnight ride

Installing mods disables achievements

76 is the worst game from the Franchise.

I still play Fallout 4 sometimes. Horizon Overhaul Mod and various other mods/patches.

The problem I have with Horizon is it doubles down on all the aspects of FO4 I hate (survival/settlement BS).... but it DOES improve the gunplay massively.
