Brainwashed much?

He is still trying to be elected, give him time... Once he is in power his "a man for the people stance" will change. Sigh at your naivety.
Unless you can see into the future or have special powers, then what you're saying is carp. As I said, I prefer him to Mbeki, no brainwashing required.

How does china implement their law then and is it possible to change the constitution and also instead of letting them have kid grants why not make the orphanages better and leaving the kids in good hands?

The ruling party can declare that gays for instance may marry if it was true that they could not do so before the party said so then in fact this means they have the power to decide if people may or may not live a life style?

are you against the ideas, do you like them but are unsure how to control them?

Well we can use"xenophobia for instance" these crazy blokes kill none S.A people allegedly taking their jobs if we were to offer them to report any one having kids under the limit would reduce overpopulation and provide them with better job opportunities surely they will fall for that pitch. Also we can castrate people who does not abide by the law much like china chops of your hand for steal you can now chop of your penis if you miss use it, its not a dildo its a instrument of life, you can have sex just don't get some one pregnant and if you do let them get a abortion (if it is not past the legal age it of the fetus, if it is then it should be seen as murder and treated with a life sentence.)

If you do like my other post's ideas then instead of saying no one work cause we can control it, then help get ideas to make it work.

The systems we live on is failures and should be seen as such. We are currently living on a big flop of a system but its better than the others.

Take this case in point. News recently showed Malema or someone else speaking on Zuma's behalf to striking SAA workers. He said the moment a strike occurs the minister should be on the ground working out a deal. Now if that isn't BS I don't know what is, can you imagine that the Minister of Labour will travel down to every strike and negotiate on behalf of the striking workers?

Has that every happened anywhere? Ever? Let alone it becoming a habit or a pattern for the future minister. Nonsense.

One thing is for sure. Nobody can act surprised. Now it is time to get sane people in there to tell the government that you need people with a passion for modern farming to run the farms and own them. Historical ancestry does not make you an automatic farmer....

Can't the government just give the money to the people?
So what made those people own* the LAND.
just living on it.
If you know any thing about black south African traditions is that way back they did not have a sense of ownership or "land" it is a term introduced to them by the settlers.

So the country was not owned just inhabited because no standards or who had what was documented.

So just before apartheid every one that "stayed on a land" but did not own it for years, claimed it as their own after apartheid which I feel as wrong.

On the other hand if you did* OWN the land on books and what not then they should pay* you the net worth and not give it back it it belongs to some one now.

Sentimental value is useless, just take the cash go buy better stuff or invest it but no they buy $20mil farm to build 20 shacks on it WTF those people could have retired for life, STUPID ANC/NP party, they ARE SO STUPID how do you take the ANC to court and get them outs on claim of stupidity?

# Twenty top crop and dairy farms in the Eastern Cape, bought for R11.6-million and returned to a Kokstad community, are now informal settlements;

Did anyone else pick up on this? That under R600 000 compensation was paid for each of these successful commercial farms that were appropriated? I thought fair market value was the guideline, and the promise here. That this was not going to be a Zim style land grab, and people would be properly compensated for their land.

The average house costs damn near a million right now, and the government paid not much more than half of that for a commercial farm with all it's infrastructure in place?

Yeah I picked up on that as well but wasn't altogether surprised considering that they hardly ever pay fair value for the farms in the first place...

Unfortunately like Old Bob when they "redistribute" land they see it as already beng their's and therefore don't see the need to pay "fair" market value for the farms

Which is why the farmers appeal and hold out for a fairer price and then in turn get blamed for delaying land reform.

That is true, but rather delay land reform than have it given over at a low price and be left to waste away.

The problem is also that the government won't compensate for improvements. Say the farmer built a meat-processing plant on the land, which is worth another 20% of the value. They won't get it back. This is why sometimes the farmer or workers etc will strip the place after they leave.

Strange how all the negatives things that where claimed would happen, are seeming to be happening now.

Makes sense, it would be to their detriment to leave all the equipment there. Too bad the government can't see the harm in it all.

We do not have to look as recently as Zim farms go back to SA in the late 1970,early 80's early when farms in the Transkei & Ciskei were bought from farmers and given to then homelands of Ciskei and Transkei look at those once thriving farms, absolutely desolate.

If you drive between Queenstown and Fort Beaufort in the Eastern Cape, the Seymour area was a once thriving orange industry, now the farms lie in desolation - Seymour had the most wonderful pub and hotel, nothing worth writing about now

Look at the decay of those small towns - basic services like sewerage running down the street - Ugie in the Eastern Cape
