While I am dealing with my injuries of the day, I figured out i may as well find out a little more on this.

My hair and nails seem to grow rather fast.
I have to have the hair cut every 2nd week to keep it in order, and the nails once a week (at least).
I am not particularly concerned, but I was talking to a buddy & his seem to grow at half the rate.
My family (both parents sides) seems to have zero hair loss - I can imagine coffins filled to capacity with hair.
I do consume vast amounts of dairy, be it cheese, ice cream (my Achilles heel), cream, milk etc. which may be a contributing factor - despite some really bad falls & accidents, i have yet to break a bone - probably due to all the calcium consumed.

However, I am not a "hairy" person - as in body hair, have very little, besides on top of my head.

So, this is really just a curiosity !

I'm the same, nails & hair grow very quickly compared to other people. It's the nails that annoy me the most, I have to clip them every week else they get nasty long. Got clippers and cut my own hair every second weak. I've lost my one big toenail twice recently and it takes about halve the time it supposedly takes other peoples to grow back out completely.

How quick do your wounds heal? My wounds also heal very quickly, two days after stitches or minor injuries follow up checkup by doctor they are always like wtf you heal quickly.

Unlike you I don;t consume much dairy, just a bit of cheese and then ice cream on the odd occasion, don't drink milk.

I'm the same and my dairy intake isn't that much as yours is, so it's not due to it.

I'm also not a hairy person. It's just who you are. I am almost fully grey and I am only 29, yes I saw the grey hair thread yesterday :p, posted in it a while back too I think.

I have to cut my nails two or three times a week :erm:
But my hair takes forever to grow :crying:
And my wounds don't heal :crying:
And I don't drink milk

But I don't think you should complain about fast growth - it could only be good... I think...

It's usually hereditary. If you have a brother he will have next to no hair because you got the hair genes.
Mine is like a giant bush and barely greying while my younger brother has a top like a billard ball and combs over 2 strands from the sides to make it look like something's there.
