Fastest Home ADSL installation time you've had ?

This is just crazy. Why do some people get their lines in 2 weeks, and other wait 8 months for it? Oh wait, I forgot.... we're talking about Telkom....

I walked int a Telkom office on a Thursday, placed the order, and had it installed and running by the following Wednesday. So, I don't have much reason to moan about that, sorry to those that do have to wait.

I've been waiting almost 4 years for my installation date finally I got it... 25th October 2006...I'll add another six months just in case...Sorry but this is my fastest installation date

Mine went real fast, i phoned telkom and they asked for my details. This was last year October, I phoned again September this year, they said sorry. I wonder if i should phone again?

eish, yes it does, and now i can request it online, maybe i get better support there than with the phone call...thanx disabled

A quicker way is to visit the Telkom shop in your area and apply there, it is much faster than applying online...If you look at some of the posts on the forum you will see that those are the best results...Also you can ask them about 'Self Install' I think you save on the installation charges and you'll get your ADSL a lot faster...TRY IT!:)
Reason I waited so long is because I'm in the sticks...
