I have a Option Globetrotter card and would like to know if it is possible to fax directly using the card as a fax modem?
I'm currently making use of the Faxwhiz service. It works OK but is not ideal. Would like to have immediate confirmation that the fax went through, rather than hoping for the e-mail to go through, hoping the attachment is in a format that the system understands, hoping that I'll receive a confirmation e-mail soon indicating that it did/didn't go through etc.
Lastly, is it possible to use the data card for voice. IE using a Bluetooth headset and the laptop and Skype (data) for long distance and the normal voice calls for the local and cell calls? This one is more of an interest for gadget sake than to actually use it ... I might be able to find a use for this in future though
Has anyone had any success doing the above?
