You have no idea. Google is your friend.

Was he acquitted of all charges? Yes or No will do sunshine.
Sure. In the Senate trial.

But...

You do know there are *two* parts to removing a sitting president by Congress, right?

Impeachment in the House, and then the trial in the Senate?

No?

You're welcome to ask if you don't.

Anyway, he was first impeached by the House for obstruction and abuse of power by votes of 229/198 and 230/197.

Then he was impeached in the House for a second time, this time for incitement by a vote of 232/197.

His impeachments are a matter of Congressional record now and like Andrew Johnson and Bill Clinton before him, will be until the end of time.

Sorry if that doesn't sit well with your feels or vibes 'tho, Vrotappel, but it is what it is.

House impeachment means nothing and is purely academical. The main test is in the Senate. Easy as that.

Neither of those parts worked in removing him.

What is your point?

The same way Zuma's many motions of no confidence lead to nothing. It is part of our history yet it meant nothing for our greater good. He still destroyed SA.

You can put a person in a state of being accused. Without conviction it is nothing but an empty gesture. In the case of Trump the symptom of TDS.

House "impeachment" means they believe there is enough evidence/ reason to put the president on trial. Then the senate found him not guilty at the actual trial.

46 presidents, four impeachments... Folks more likely to know who those three presidents are than who the 10th, or 20th or 30th potus was.

But hey, the cognitive dissonance of uncomfortable reality is probably the reason you're minimising his awfulness now, and you'll probably continue doing that until the day you breathe your last.

That they're distinct processes of Congress.

One in the House and one in the Senate.

You can't get tried in the Senate without being impeached in the House first.

Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

Causes the brain to shrivel up, I heard.

43 Empty 'CLASSIFIED' folders in his office you say?

FbqHogGXwAAH5lr

Empty, huh?

Gee, I wonder what could possibly have happened to the docs in those classified folders?

Anyway, anyone remember that one time Donny hosted the Saudis for a LIV golf tournament at Bedminster?

I do.

Good times.
He flushed those down the bog?

Now your argument is Trump is going to be very famous and always remembered.

I like it.

Like a trial and being found not guilty. That's justice for you. At least lefties can celebrate the fact that they had the trial.
And us Trump supporters have the fact that he was found not guilty.

so everyone wins.
The Senate voted 57–43 to convict Trump of inciting insurrection.

I would say he was guilty but some fascists lacked backbone to knife the Fuhrer in the back.

No, but I know when a case is out the window and the government weaponizing law enforcement for political gain. Third world dictatorship s**t right there.
Haaibo! In the 3rd world we would just hang the bugger on a gallows on the front lawn of Congress. Wait....

Love that you're bringing JZ into this... If I make the comparison between the two y'all mostly clutch your pearls and dash for a fainting chair.

Yes.

No confidence and impeachment in the House are much the same in that the ANC rallied around their guy to get him off the hook as much as Senate Republicans rallied around Donny.

Innocence or guilt didn't matter one bit to either of them. Only acquittal.

Also, Donny has subverted a grand old party into a seditionist, reality denying, incompetent, grifting monster, much like JZ did with the ANC.

And maybe the real MyBB TDS is conservatives here not realising how similarly sycophantic they are to our own ANC cadres who they claim to hate.
