Does anyone know if this is available? I want to get it using my unlimited free Web Africa bandwidth on their freezone :)

On the plus side, they're up-to-date with slackware-current. :p

Try and get an email address and contact them. Maybe someone will be kind enough to make it available there.

Hey guys,

We're adding Fedora this morning. It's huge though, so will take a while to have the full sync done. Keep checking though, it'll be up :D

Hi Jeff,

Has the syncing stopped? I see 14 is not there yet and some of the folders are still empty?

Thanks

Hey guys,

Apologies for only posting an update now. Managed to lose this thread somehow.
It seems like the syncing of the mirror is running into errors - looks like the Linux guys are running the sync from scratch from what I can tell. I'll have the thread updated again once the sync is 100% complete :)

Hi Jeff,

Any news on the syncing? I see a couple of the linux directories for other distributions are also not synced properly.

Let us know.

Thanks

Just replied to your thread on our forums boswald :)
We're in the process of updating the entire server over this weekend.

it's rather interesting that it's more cost effective for wa to sync, and then provide the data free to users on their network. i guess this is an ipc issue?

While it is, in a round-about way, cost-efficient, the aim is more towards being network-efficient. Making the content available on FreeZone to Web Africa customers just makes sense to us.

@Boswald: The Fedora repository was still in the process of being sync'd for the first time, however it is being kept up to date, along with the Debian repo. I have verified however that the FreeBSD repository was most definitely not up to date. The server we were syncing from hadn't updated for the best part of 2 months. We've changed this to one of FreeBSD's official servers and so it has started a new round of syncing, hopefully it won't take that long to catch up. :)
