Hello, I am wanting to make load shedding more bearable as well and so looking for a basic set up to run a tv, server, some led lights, security cams, router, etc. I have calculated I need around 700-800 watts. I've spent hours reading a ton of the posts on here and feel I got the gist of what I'm looking for.

The cheapest option seems to be to order from Aliexpress and I am just wanting input from any that have set up a similar system.

It seems to me the simplest way is to just get a 1500watt pure sine UPS inverter that is all in one, then I just have to buy two batteries this side and connect it up.

This is the best option i have found that comes with a 15amp charger. it's about 3000 rand including express shipping.

They have another one for 20amps and 2000 watts for even less cash here:

Just wondering if anyone can give me their opinion on this option before I buy. Thanks. Seems much cheaper than any local options I have found.

Thanks really appreciate the input, I could be wrong as I am a total novice, however, the ones I posted are different that the post above which I saw previously, as the post above does not include the UPS/charger. the ones I linked to actually plug into the wall and one has a 15amp charger, the 2nd one has a 20amp charger.
