Either way, Sentech is still not 'engaging with its customers', now only with a few individuals "secretly". Understand this: I am just a customer. I am not getting anything new out of the reports of this meeting so far if you just say "well trust us things will get better soon but we're not going to tell you any details of the implementation of our fixes", because, quite frankly, that is just the same message we've been hearing from *Sentech* for months, and the same message they used while breaking several deadlines already. From where I'm sitting, and from the perspective of the thousands of other customers, nothing has changed. Have I got any new information about what's being done to fix the problem? No. I'm just a paying customer. It's not my position to "trust someone" that "it will get better soon, but we can't tell you what we're doing because it's uber-secret". Honestly, that's a f***ing childish attitude for a company to take. Certainly I can't "respect that", and at this stage it's still no less alienating and patronising to me and to every other customer who wasn't at this meeting. The secrecy certainly doesn't help rebuild my trust for Sentech - you don't help rebuild broken trust amongst your customer base by *more secrecy*. And you don't "engage with your customers" by having "secret meetings" with a tiny group of reps who supposedly represent all customers. Has Sentech tried to talk with me? No. I could give a fig about "special communication channels" and "forum reps".
I'm a customer of Sentech, I want answers from Sentech, I'm not getting them. That is all there is to it. It's REALLY THAT SIMPLE.
Just keep this in mind if you're wondering why the forum is still so hostile over your perceived secretiveness - from our perspective, nothing's changed. I've dealt with slick, smooth-talking manipulative guys like Sentech management before, and I know how easy it is to get talked into believing that they "have really changed", I have no reason to believe that they've changed and there is no actual reason to believe that they've changed, just words so far.
