What a dog.

I got to ask though, technically she's black, and she certainly has black ancestry, doesn't she automagically get a pass? Is the concept not the same as only blacks being able to use the n word in the states?

A black (no mixed race or coloured) guy has been prosecuted in this country for calling another the k-word so this isn't anywhere close to new or as targeting as you might believe. And I saw an article on the BBC where a US basket ball coach (women's) was fired for using the n-word, both the coach and the players are black.

Wasn't thinking about targeting in the least. I was just curious that's all. Wasn't there some black politician calling another that word and he said it can't be racist and nothing came of it?

Either way, I have no vested interest in the subject apart from appeasing my own curiosity.

Fsck with a Coloured-girl at your own peril.
Years back at one company I worked for, there were a lot of these ladies from the Cape. My ears were on fire more than once. But what was lacking in the finesse department, was made up for in the honesty department. And sharp!

They tend to call a spade a spade, then explain the spade, then make sure you understand the explanation ...

In front of the CEO's office was the entrance where staff came and left. In the center was a fishpond with normally ~20 fish. Then the retrenchments started. Somebody cleaned the fishpond and there were only two goldfish in the pond. As we were going home, a lady in front of us saw it. Loud enough for everybody (and most certainly the CEO) to hear: "Haai - waar is jul se maatjies. Is hul ook geretrench?!" It earned her the nick name Minora :laugh:

Van der Berg stated that the Constitutional Court takes into account who uttered the speech, adding that the identity of the perpetrator makes a difference in cases such as the use of the k-word.

But shame, I see the SAHRC is denying their bias,

SAHRC DENIES FAVOURING BLACK PEOPLE WHEN HANDLING CASES
Oppositions MPs accused them SAHRC of letting black offenders off the hook while vigorously investigating and punishing white people.

CAPE TOWN - The South African Human Rights Commission (SAHRC) has denied it applied double standards when investigating incidents of hate speech and racism.

Opposition Members of Parliament took the Chapter Nine Institution to task on Tuesday when officials appeared before Parliament's justice committee.

They accused them of letting black offenders off the hook while vigorously investigating and punishing white people.

this coloured lady may be used as an example to illustrate their 'mandate'. I see Mr Policeman is being encouraged to open the various cases. As I have it, equal punishments.

Alternatively, this will go away like Black Vicki Momberg which the police is seemingly still investigating.
