It's a double-bluff. Ferrari can't afford to stay out of F1 for too long.

Don't recall the last season where Bernie or Max wanted to introduce stupid rules and there wasn't a big fight and threats of teams leaving.

Ohhh, it's Ferrari's Annual Tantrum again. Wow

Should include it in the annual race calendar somewhere.

So the big guys are throwing their toys out of the cot because there migt be some limit to how much money they can throw away?
They have a point about the 2-tier structure proposed by the FIA but to argue against some spending limit is just crazy.

I have to say I am with Ferrari on this one. Their corporate strategy relies on them showing their superiority in F1 (though this season hasn't helped in that regard thus far). If there are budget caps, they could be competing evenly with Renault consistently and why will someone buy a Ferrari when you might as well buy a Renault :p

Because Ferrari has more intelligent and capable engineers/designers who can deliver better performance/style with the same amount of money than Renault, maybe?
