Fiber down again, Octotel/Cool Ideas Blouberg Cape Town

Is there anyone else out there who's fiber is also down in Bouberg/Table view area.
Mine was down for the second time today.

FYI can you send me a screenshot of the speeds you get to the UK as well as the US servers just want to compare those?

Sorry for late reply, when I tested on wifi this morning it was terrible, then I connected cable and did 3 tests again.


Something isn’t working the way it should, I think we are affected by what Razed mentioned.

My fiber seems to be back online after last night, but still having issues with international speeds. You think your speeds are bad look at mine. 7mb download on my 100mb line. Are you on Vumatel or Octotel? I am on the 100/25mb package

In the mornings its normally fine, issues later in evening.

After the upgrade of the link between City and us, things is much better.

I’m monitoring my avg usage for the last 3 weeks, I’m very happy with MTN, thinking to get a 200gig all day bundle for content streaming, and use my other data contract for work.

I try not to getting use to high speed and downloads.

Telkom LTE has nice pricing, but they don’t have coverage in smaller costal towns, I think of moving all togheter.
