Sign up with GoogleI'm trying to get fibre installed to the garden cottage I live in, on a property that straddles two parallel streets. The street for the main house has fibre coverage (openserve). After suffering many weeks of geographical illiteracy from Afrihost, Openserve finally came around today to install. But according to them I need to get an electrician to first install a conduit. They didn't bother to look it the set up in the main house. I don't know if the main house has fibre or a telkom conduit.
Is this something I can DIY with the right tubing or does it need something more professional? And where does the 8m free trenching fit in?
