Fibre in Zeekoevlei (Cape Town)

Afrihost and Openserve Fibre

22 June - signed up for Openserve fibre from Afrihost
27 June - received my free router
04 July - received a call from Openserve, scheduled installation the following day
05 July - took a day off from work #excited, Openserve pulled a no-show
06 July - Openserve finally came, drove back home. They sent 3rd party contractors who did all the wiring (very neat)
08 July - Fibre is active!!! I am on a 4mbps and it's really fast, I watched Netflix videos with no
stuttering at all.

Advise

Don't let the installers leave without helping you with the configuration of the router!

Hi There. I to live in Zeekoevlei. For years we have had terrible internet so when i saw this thread i was chuffed. Can you tell me in what area of zeekoevlei you stay?

I checked fibre availability with Afrihost but it saids that Fibre is not available yet in my area? strange!!! Please let me know who you dealt with so i can contact them.
