Going for month 11 of our neighborhood roll out. Saw some Chinese guys clad in Huawei reflectives on Saturday afternoon. Seems the trenching has been done between Erasmia and Laudium.

I hope the trenching is done in Laudium to the exchange.
Now comes the wait for them to install the equipment, actual fibre and then enter our homes.
So fibre my part of centurion was laid about two months ago. How long does it take openserve to activate the fibre for use? We cant have ADSL(what telkom said) and LTE has been slow the last few days.
I see them almost daily still busy in parts of Eldoraign and Wierdapark too. I suspect that there may be a waiting list.
I haven't seen them in a while in the area, but I usually travel through there outside of office hours.
Details?Did anyone else in the gated community get a letter of new prices? Im very very happy with Telkoms new 100mbps/50mbps prices, 43% drop in price.
Can you post a pic of it? Hoping those of us on openserve with other ISPs get similar decreases soonDid anyone else in the gated community get a letter of new prices? Im very very happy with Telkoms new 100mbps/50mbps prices, 43% drop in price.

New wholesale Openserve pricing (this is what ISPs are charged to host your line)
4Mbs ->R270
10Mbs -> R330
20Mbs -> R390
40Mbs -> R440

I really hope Axxess drops the line only prices.
They are currently charging 799 for 100mb line.
Why would they? They have already dropped the 'line only' products in their entirety.
