Fibre modem and router needs to be reset every couple of days

So my fibre has been rock solid for almost 2 years. My modem and router basically never needed to be reset.

Since about 2 months ago, I lose connection (lights on the fibre modem are all still green) and need to reset both my fibre modem and wireless WAN router to get it going again. This happens every 2-3 days.

Is the problem the router (fibre or wireless router) or perhaps my line?

Happened to me a while back. I think changing my DNS server address fixed it.

What did you change your DNS address to?

I changed to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

I changed to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

I had to use the IPV6 DNS addresses, but touch wood I think your solution worked. Havent had to reset the router since.
