firefox youtube videos sound better than amarok

i have noticed something weird when i watch youtube videos the audio quality is much better than amarok playback of the same song all my mp3s are ripped when at high quality they even sound great in windows its just in amarok that they dont sound to good amarok and firefox both use the xine engine so dont know y the songs sound better on youtube

Do they sound good if you play them with something like Rhythmbox?
