firewire cables

I'm looking for a 4pin to 4pin firewire cable and a 6pin to 4pin firewire cable for purchase in the Cape Town area. I've tried lightedge and they sell them for R40 each but are only getting stock next month. I also tried all the shops in canal walk and the only place that had them was incredible curruption and they wanted R300. Does anyone know of any place that may have stock and respectable price?

Well, when I bought a 6pin to 4pin cable a few years ago, I had to fork out R400 bucks for the thing. Firewire was barely known then.

I saw a cable at PC Gameworld in Sandton that was around R40 bucks. The cables shouldn't be too difficult to find.

Have you tried Falcon in Woodstock (021) 448-2402?

They have a large range of cabling and if they can't help you then they might be able to refer you to someone who can.
