Flats or High Heels? (Dunno if men can contribute!)

My wife is approx 6ft and rocks many pairs of heels - sometimes even platforms she positively towers in them and it is insanely hot.
Honestly: I may be a shoes perv but to me there is not a damn thing in the world hotter than a hot lady in heels, the way they affect the way a woman looks just seems to play on so many archetypes that any man with a shred of aesthetic will be powerless.

EDIT: on the subject of pain: any cheap shoes will hurt you after a while, high heels even more so. From what I am told the upmarket brands have a huge advantage over the cheaper ones in this regard.

Having gone to a 21st birthday party dressed in goth drag I can honestly say I don't know what all the fuss about dancing in very high heals is about.

Also, tall ladies with nice calves in heals make me think bad thoughts. It's not practical every day but you can never be too tall.

Jeans & sneakers on a girl looks "fun" and chillaxed. As soon as you're all dressed up and pampered, wearing shiny stuff I tend to think you're a snob. If it's impractical, why continue? Almost like those Fail_chicks at gym wearing makeup and jewelery.

If you're around me, I'd like you to be pretty but comfortable.

For the life in me I have never understood the whole high heels thing. I find hell pointless, painful (I have seen many women "walking" in those things) and quite silly.

Its like saying that a piece of cloth hanging from a men's neck makes him more fashionable or "corporate"..

It's not all that impractical, actually - it depends on what you're wearing. There are torture devices, then there are things that look and feel good.
We all like to dress down. We also like to dress up.

EDIT: I also express disbelief at the women who teeter around in heels that they obviously can't manage in. That's just sheer stupidity.
