I felt really bad after driving by, I should have asked if I could tow them but the last thing I want in my Astra's rear a chrome VW bumper.
Then again their brakes did seem to work as it held the position on the hill quite well.

I have seen this one before actually, parked just down the road in front of the Jetta so all they had to do was just free down hill in reverse.
Guess I do not have to feel that bad for not helping after all

I should have paid more attention the the driver and not the car - could have been a hot chick !!!! DOH !!!

You notice the everywhere in my post? women with too much curves are usually plumbers.

No offense but a Golf MK2 unless it's not making at least 100kW is not going to beat a Astra F/G 2L 16v. Especially not a 2L 16v S, 200tS or Astra G/H OPC.

How much power did the standard Golf MK2 GTI make here in SA anyway, out of curiosity (is it even a 16v motor?)
