So each time I swap phones, I do not get in-app notifications for 5 or 7 days. I am also unable to add or remove devices via the online banking channel directly. The option is simply missing and will appear after 5 or 7 days.

Yet, FNB still does not offer 2FA and on top of that, I can transfer money from the FNB app to any account within the first 5-7 days. So why do I not get in-app notifications in the first few days?
Also, Cashless withdrawal and NFC (tap and go) is disabled for the 5-7 days.

If I install the FNB app on a new device I have to enter my card number, my pin and my bleedy online password. Isnt this verification enough to enable the app fully? I mean, if someone holds me hostage and gets my card number, plus pin and password, they will still be able to move all my funds.

Whats the fricken point of this? ?

You can manually verify the device or browser on online banking. Once verified, you will have access to all the functionality.

I can't. The option is not there as soon as I install the app on a new device.

I can't do this either, very frustrating, but it happens every single time you switch devices and only appears after 5-7 days. Can't get any response from FNB on why this is the case or how to resolve this. Was told that you can also verify via ATM Advance but have not tried it so unsure on this.
