FNB CEO Michael Jordaan resigns

This guy actually changed the landscape of banking. He brought about the digital age and I can easily state he to FNB to where they are today.

Worked there for a few months and his employees absolutely love him.

Nice - he deserves a break :)

Or perhaps something happened on that recent trip to the UK :p

The "weekly commute"-thing is a bit thick. His position at FNB enabled him to buy a wine farm in the Cape. He chose to move his family there. Not that I blame him...

Probably one of the most progressive CEOs in South Africa compared to all the other corporates. It's always great to depart on a high!

Lets hope FNB doesn't get a JZ appointment and go to the dogs.

Jacques Celliers (41), a member of the FNB Executive Committee and currently the CEO of FNB Business Banking and head of FNB’s Indian expansion, has been selected as Michael’s replacement.
