There seems to be a huge issue with FNB this morning.

You cannot log on and when you try you get the message that your logon details are incorrect.

According to some tweets, cards are also being declined.

Yes for me too. Was on my way to PicknPay and filled the tank. Card is declined.... App, website, ussd, atm all not working. I tried using another banks atm and it just says transaction can not be processed at this time...

Lucky for me I had my Discovery credit card with me. NOT. They also use FNB so my Woolworths card that I'm trying to pay up and close saved me.

Looks like you just can't rely on 1 bank.

I seriously doubt that. There's going to be a lot of pi$$ed off people in shop's queue today....glad I tried logging on 6am so I know about this before getting to pay point with loaded troley. And then having to hear that smug "Your card has been declined, sir" from the till operator...

fnb.co.za is completely down now.

FNB Speedpoints are also down so merchants using FNB speedpoints need to use a backup one from another bank.....

My FNB app just came back up....and I can log in.

Me too. I had my routine set. Petrol. Groceries. Home. I filled the tank and card declined. I'm so lucky I had my Woolworths credit card with me. It's ABSA and the petrol attendant had to use the backup speedpoint as the FNB speedpoint was still declining my woolworths card. I came home to wait for the system to come online before I go shopping...

Now filled the tank and lost out on clicks club points because their FNB speedpoints don't work...

Wife says they posted something on Facebook about being aware of intermittent issues and technicians attending to it.

Blah blah. I need my coffee. And we must do groceries today. Fridge is empty and no other time available.

Heading back home to fetch a few grand cash just for in case it is not back online by 11ish.

Yeah the person handling social media probably just woke up and posted the updates.... They saying it's "intermittent" but honestly I don't think that person knows the meaning of that because it's completely offline....
