Anyone else get the email from FNB regarding them phasing out IE8 support?
I think whoever approved the Copy and Subject for that email needs to be shot. The Copy is mostly OK, still a bit shocking, but that Subject just SCREAMS phishing email to me.
Also, they should have a wealth of info in terms of which clients are using which browsers and only target those that used Online Banking in the last 6 months with IE8. And of course, their mail merge abilities seem to be lacking.

Subject : You'll no longer be able to access FNB Online Banking - please upgrade your browser
Copy : Dear Client,
Remember to upgrade to the most recent Internet Explorer version to stay online.
We are phasing out Internet Explorer 8 in September of this year. If you're still using this outdated browser, you'll no longer be able to access the FNB website or login to your banking profile. We therefore recommend that you upgrade to the most recent version.
Upgrading is free and simple and will keep you up to date with the latest technology.
For more information, you can view our frequently asked questions, or simply upgrade to a newer browser.
The process is simple and will ensure you don’t get left behind.
For further information, call Online Assistance on 087 575 0000.
Kind regards,
The FNB Online team.
