FNB has added new features to its range of Nav smart tools on its mobile app, the bank announced in a digital presentation today.

Smart Budget is a new feature that automatically sorts the types of payments you have made in order to simplify your money management tracking processes.

Capitec had this since yonks ago.

The Smart Budget actually looks kinda useful. Makes sense to track & manage budgets using actual data from your spending etc.

FNB noted that there are 3 million FNB App users, meaning that FNB banked service providers are getting access to a large number of new customers.

Thought the numbers would be much higher than that. Interesting.

That's an old article 29/07, Virtual Card is way overdue. This is really their only new feature I care about.

I had to call the bank the other day and they claimed it was available in the app, damned if I can find it.

I asked Secure Chat about the Virtual Cards feature, they had no idea what I was talking about
Also mailed my PC banker about it, he forwarded it to the card division (i think), they told me it's available and to update the app and asked me which platform etc, I sent them all the information and screenshots of their instructions with no option of virtual cards on my app, and they haven't responded in 2 weeks.

FNBs app is very spammy... Sometimes less is more. Capitecs budget tracking feature is a lot better imo, the entire app really. Even prefer STD banks app. ebucks still works well for me and my home loan is with FNB so Im sticking around for that.
