FNB - stuck on security verification

With both chrome and IE I log in and the security check wheel starts spinning ("please be patient") but pauses and never resumes or prompts me with a problem. I assume it's related to a plugin issue. Anyone have an idea?

What security check wheel? I have never seen such a thing.

You probably don't notice it because it runs very quickly - or maybe it doesn't run on personal accounts, only business.

In the past when I've had issues it has been related to java I think. Either too old of a version or FNB not supporting the new version. I guess I'll try and update that and see what happens.

I don't have it installed.

Don't know about business though.

Java is a major malware vector too ...

And Firefox seems to automatically disable it as a plugin nowadays.

Well I installed the latest version on chrome but when going to plugins it is not there. Did the same on IE and voila, it worked and I can log in again.

Business banking I presume? You need to authenticate the PC before you are able to log on.

Looks like some trouble with FNB today

I think it's this. My credit card was declining on swipes and online purchases. Had to use my cheque card and forfeit my eBucks points for not using the cheque card...

The more things change. The more they stay the same. FNB STILL NOT WORKING consistently on java... this thing is simply, broken!

Running Firefox ESR 60 (60.2.1esr (64-bit)) on my OSX machine. It has been the only browser that still supports JAVA.... really wish FNB would just get off their $%$@% hands and build a better platfrom (that's how you can help me FNB)... but then again they wont.

According to this article... Even Firefox does not support Java. Therefore, all MAC users have officially been excluded from being FNB enterprise banking customers. I hear a Good Bye song coming along.... FNB not serious about business I see. Evidently.

Isn't the JAVA only needed if you still accessing Enterprise via security certificate? If so scrap that and use the phone authentication.
