FNB unveils new app and logo

First National Bank (FNB) has undertaken a brand redesign that has seen it revamp its iconic acacia tree logo and overhaul its mobile banking app.

While the company hasn’t done away with its famous acacia tree logo, it has modernised it with a more “digital” design.

Logos be simplifyin' but the app looks much more decent at least (as a non-FNB user), previously, having that dark cyan and orange scheme on every element made my eyes go numb.

Just updated. I don't mind it, but the icon image being drawn with what looks like literally a 1px line width makes them trickier to discern at a glance compared to the chunky style of previous.

Edit: Looks much better with the brightness cranked up.

Do you also find it's slow af? Recent model iPhone and it feels like 3x slower than the browser app.

Edit : Don't see a new app on iOS

Same. No option to update in the App Store, and when I open it's still the old app.
