FNB unveils new app and logo

I'm a loyal FNB customer, but this new app is pretty disappointing. It's basically just the same old app with a new skin. They really missed out on an opportunity to rethink the whole thing.

The new logo tells the current story of South Africa. The old logo has gone through state capture, looting, loadshedding, mismanagement, incompetence etc.
It now just looks burned out and depleted.

Seems like mostly a reskin of the old app. One interesting feature is "ChatPay allows clients to request payments from any FNB customer using the app’s chat functionality." Seems like something leading towards the new rapid payments program which should be launched soon where you can pay using an alias.


I tried to do a bill payment - completely lost how to pay an easypay account - seems to take me to Payme screen - maybe its broken - or i am silly.

The overall look is good, its digital
Its just that branch on the second canopy, it could do with an edit or two

We noticed our clients haven't been using the other services we sell, so now we've pushed them to the forefront in our banking app.
Remember, you doing what you, as a client need in the banking app, is less important to us than us upselling you on other products!

What's the deal with the bill payment...doesn't look like it works. Or please explain how to pay my COJ bill (easypay).

Customers can now customise their app’s home screen by adding, removing, and rearranging icons for the different features.
Capitec did that three years ago already.
