Wow the increase in menu price is crazy.

The Pizza from Del Forno is 110 bucks. Cheapest option from the 3 delivery services in the comparison is 147. Same thing for the butter chicken at 125 VS 155.

For a single order that's not too bad but order for a family and this becomes quite pricey.

Yeah for one or 2 people the premium is OK... But when you do a family sized order it gets stupid as fsck.

No thanks unless there's a voucher I can utilize. My Philips airfryer is saving me loads.

UberEats is wildly more useful to me in PE. A hefty chunk of the time I open the Mr D app there are no drivers available for anything (late evening), and even when there are drivers the tracking and refund system is so much worse from my experience. I just wish more restaurants would add themselves to UberEats.

I came here to say the same thing. Mr D is a rip off

For food, sure. But I use for PnP food and booze shopping when they have vouchers.

Last few weeks I've used for 2 x R150 off on R400 spend and 2 x R100 off on R300 spend. Delivery is R35, give the driver R10 tip and you are saving either R105 or R55 depending on the voucher, and even better, you don't have to lug home big bags of toilet paper or 48 beers.

Cannot get myself to pay these heavily inflated menu prices plus the delivery fee. I drive or use those that has their own delivery, like Del Forno, Steers, Fishaway.

Stop being lazy and go and get the food yourself. No reason to pay mental prices for cold food.
