Wonder who they have in mind to replace him? Could it be either one of these two jobless managers? Zidane or Conte.

Anyway, hope they relegated.
Gonna be a mercenary bastard whoever it is.

The owners will want a recognised manager, but they'll need to find one willing to take on a club propping up eighteen other teams on the table.

Apparently Steve had an £8 million payday today. Recon that's small change compared to the money the club are going to throw at a new manager.

I still wonder whether or not the new owners are going to go full City/PSG or surprise everyone and not spend all that much more than Ashley did.

They have monopoly money. Pocket change for the owners to build up the most expensive team

There's gonna be an economic boom in Newcastle too. I'd open a Tesla and Ferrari shop there of I could.

And a translators centre too. The demand for Geordie - English translators is going to surge

Well, no point in buying the club, if you are not going to spend money, and if you are not going to spend money, why get rid of the coach/manager?

Indeed, but they don't HAVE to. Newcastle is already a cash cow (I think in the early 2000's only Man United was bringing in more money world-wide).

Wouldn't be the first time that a billionaire has bought an English club and not lived up to expectations *cough* Kroenke *cough*.

They're probably looking to get someone in before the January window...

It's sportwashing. And Bruce got sacked because he wouldn't be able to keep them up. Would've happened eventually whether they were bought out or not.

There is no way that won't happen. City is owned by Abu Dhabi and PSG by the Qataris. The Saudis have just joined in the game and there is no way they're going to settle as minnows.

Never thought I'd utter these words, but looks like I'm going to have to transfer Ronaldo out of my fantasy team this week. His form is kaaaaak.
