Three words: Jurgen Norbert Klopp

Also, that's kinda how sports work. If Stevie had been born five years later, you know... and that said, disrespecting my captain like this is fighting talk.
pish says the guy that wanted Henderson out a couple seasons ago :p

Slander! Libel! Aspersion! Defamation! Blasphemy!

This was me in the Liverpool thread last night.

Always better?

Indeed.

Always better with Jordan's shuffle.

I genuinely like Hendo - always have - and I can't think of a tougher job at Liverpool than taking over the captaincy from one of our all-time greats.

But he managed it.

Also known as the table that sort of differentiates between teams favoured by Referees. Yes, and just like i suspected... LivVARpool top of the list.
Man United have benefited from VAR this season more than any other Premier League club. In a deep-dive into every overturned decision, Man United came first in the table with nine decisions going in their favour and just one going against them. That gives Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side a net score of +8. VARchester United, anyone?

The results prove that any idea that Liverpool have benefited heavily by VAR is just a myth. Their net score is +1, the same as Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur and Leicester City. Sheffield United are in bottom place with a score of -6.

VAR OVERTURNS THIS SEASON (NET SCORE)
  • Manchester United +8
  • Brighton +7
  • Crystal Palace +5
  • Burnley +4
  • Southampton +3
  • Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester City, Newcastle, Tottenham +1
  • Bournemouth 0
  • Watford -1
  • Arsenal, Everton -2
  • Aston Villa -3
  • Chelsea, West Ham -4
  • Norwich, Wolves -5
  • Sheffield United -6

That's fantastic, thanks for the info and thank goodness for VAR.

Just goes to show that 8 (net) referee mistakes were averted and how much United is getting punished from biased referees.

If you go back years this bias against United is probably at an all time low. We've been getting robbed by referees, and thanks to you, we now have the figures to prove it.

You are welcome......ROFL!!!
By the way, the stats I posted don't prove United were being 'robbed' by referees....they are being favoured.

Robbed by referees, is exactly what overturned by VAR means!

Here - read this carefully - Manchester United have benefited greatly from VAR using a number different metrics including an interesting one labelled "subjective decisions"

On the "Subjective Decisions" metric

- Manchester United (+4) and Crystal Palace (+4) are the 'luckiest/most favoured by officials' [6 for; 2 against for both]
- Arsenal (-4) and Norwich City (-4) are the 'unluckiest/least favoured by officials' [Arsenal 0 for, 4 against; NC 1 for, 5 against]

Well, I guess that’s what you get when your two-bit high school team are all bark but no bite:

Arsenal 3 - 0 Watford

34 minutes.

So, at half-time the league finishes:

Liverpool, City, Chelsea, United and Leicester while Watford, Bournemouth and Norwich drop.

Updates in an hour...

EDIT: Liverpool, City, United, Chelsea and Leicester... Bye Watford, Bournemouth and Norwich

It just wouldn’t be a classic Arsenal game if we didn’t throw away - or attempt to - a 3-0 lead :/

Yikes, congrats to united for finishing on the same points as last year - a great achievement being 33 points behind Liverpool, with plenty of leeway from the referees.

With the late star of next season, this virus ongoing and the Euro 2021 in June next year I expect them to cut the CL down to 2 teams per League for the safety of everyone.

Thanks dude! Although the salt about refs is too much in a very salty dish already. Maybe you need some lemon to go with the salt? And tequila of course!

Hey, @KOPITE - this mid-table team did well finishing 3rd, don't you think.

And then we factor in all the extra money this will give United, as well as retaining and getting new players.

Lol, you must pay VAR and the refs for handing out 3rd spot. Seems you quite happy to be 33 points behind us. That's a 3rd of a season, but I guess you happy to be in the league where the big boys are. Rather save yourselves embarrassment.

No use getting extra money as you'll anyway be wasting on flops like Flopba. We'll see what rubbish you buy next. Try next season to be at least less then 20 points behind us if you can

Oh @KOPITE , you never fail to disappoint :giggle:

My guess is, that there is 15 years coming for you lads. Did you see Salah saying no-one knows what the future holds?

Nah I am good. Crying done, I have filled 4 cups already. I have had plenty of champagne so you can keep your cheap tequila. Always could use some vitamin c but you are so far back that it will be next season before it reaches me. Perhaps you can pass it to Brendan Rodgers, he will bottle it up.
