So , just making sure ... you're not objecting to the knocking off bit, just the perch bit.

When the bottom of the log team beats you 3-2 at home after you've been unbeaten at home for a year in all competitions, then you take the lumps handed out by fans of the other clubs.

Damn right we've been knocked off our perch - albeit a deserved one prior to the game given our home record.

Ah well, my aim for this season given the transfers we were able to get has always been Top 4 - once Mane is back from Afcon and barring injuries I still think that's a realistic target.

The title story was always unlikely given how thin the squad is, and,in any event, Chelsea have been unstoppable and injury free.

This I can respect.

Any news on KOPLITE?

I'm worried he may have done himself some harm after last nights result :)

He seems fine, last I saw him he was in the Liverpool talking about how gross defending a lead is in football. Once, ahead teams should just keep on attacking and open themselves up defensively so that it's more entertaining on the eye.

Relax, Klopp is just taking a stand against the fact that England has no winter break.
They'll be back in Feb kicking @55 and taking names.
Will be interesting to see how they cope with the extra fixtures in Europe next year, surely they will have to add a lot of depth.

I wonder how he felt when Liverpool were booting the ball up the pitch at every opportunity after Pogba gifted them the lead.

I though Southampton played really well. When they missed those early chances I thought they were inevitable going out. Klopp should just wright it off as a scouting mission.

Really Jurgen

"I’m disappointed, there’s big disappointment. It was difficult. The wind was really strange, it was difficult to handle.

"You saw one or two balls when the ball stopped in a moment when nobody knew about it. That was difficult for a football-playing side.

"I said a few times when I came here about the wind and everybody was laughing, but today was really difficult, really difficult to play football with this wind."
