How come professional footballers get offside so easily.....or is it just a question of parallax error?

It's a combination of things. Sure attackers often misjudge the pass and the line, but at the same time defenders are coached in moving as a unit and actively try and read the situation leaving the attacker in an offside position when the ball is played.
