And wtf is up with all the snot en trane when the anthems are playing? It's all the fault of that Neymar ****!

Apparently his (the Ivory Coast player) father died like 2 hours before the match.

I didn't want him to play this game because if England lose he's gonna get **** from the scousers too when he gets back....he's happy with us at the moment cause we stood by him. What happens if his own fans turn against him?

Suarez simply wont be staying at liverpool.....he wants to be at Madrid and will go surely...especially after this game. We all know how unforgivingly stupid English fans are....

Did i hear the commentator refer to his Liverpool team mates as "former"???

Omw omw omw ivory coast suck

All of the African teams are bottling it. It is so frustrating. Especially the Ivorians. Player for player they were better than the Colombians and dare I say better than any other team in their group, but wasting talent is their lot. They do it at every World Cup and African Cup of Nations; arrive with a strong team and go on to play bridesmaid.

He shouldn't have played then. I could be wrong but wasn't he the defender that made the mistake that led to the goal?

Japan failed to score against a 10 man Greece. They deserve to be out

Heard one of the Greek players booked a flight back home after a training ground bust up. Apperently a teammate told him his crosses were shyte and he stormed off.

If we're honest, on present form you cannot neutralise Suarez. Best out-and-out striker in the world at the moment. Absolute terror.

Of course you can. Stop the ball from reaching him. Unfortunately, Gerrard is a pretty average holding midfielder.

It was a fool's errand on his part. LFC play with a three man midfield, and Hodgson expected him to perform the same in a 2 man midfield.

yep, you lose the midfield and you lose the game in most instances. what was concerning was how laboured the attacking was. always to slow to move the ball and find players in space. no clever little runs or cute balls round the corner.

/ though I am glad England are out! never really supported them on international level.

That's also true. Similar to the woes Alonso faced against Chile.

The biggest issue for me, was the England had no shape when off the ball. The Uruguayans had too easy a time in getting the ball away simply because of that.

England's team was good enough to qualify for the second round. They just have a kark coach. Sturridge was the main goal threat but somehow towards the end was out wide left. Right after they scored sturridge had that shot, the keeper parried into the box but no one from England was there. Now if you chasing the game wtf are you not pushing up.

Stevie is not a dm anymore. He doesn't have the legs for it anymore. Johnson and baines are kark at defending. I haven't watched allot of baines but he just looks average. Less said about the keeper the better. The cb's look average at this level as well. They will most likely stick with Roy though.

Cry my beloved England. Maybe next time.

Strange World Cup so far.

More goals - a lot more.

But Spain, England gone after two games. Argentina, Brazil, France, African teams all under performing.

Uruguay seem a one-man team so not sure how far they will progress.

Both Chile and Mexico playing above themselves.

I would hate to be a bookmaker - this one is impossible to call.

You've not mentioned Germany at all...
though I'm backing Holland out of necessity

Pretty standard for a World Cup outside of Europe, European teams never do well outside of Europe with the one exception being the 2010 world cup
